I recently relocated to IL from CA, and worked with Stacy to purchase a house. I am a first-time home buyer and I looked at many houses (including multiple houses several times) before making my decision. Putting myself in her shoes, I was somewhat concerned that she wouldn’t want to work with me any longer given my indecisiveness, but I never got that feeling from Stacy and she was always willing to show me more houses (or the same house again). Stacy was great to work with given her history living in the area, and she was able to share information and helpful tips about various communities I was interested in living. She was also very helpful in identifying certain items in each house that a first-time buyer might overlook or not be aware of. Stacy is professional, very responsive, and great to work with, I would absolutely recommend her if you are looking for a realtor in the area, and I will work with her again should the need arise in the future. I was frustrated that I'd made multiple offers, significantly over asking price, without having one accepted. Stacy did data research and recommended I expand my search area. Once I did, the first offer I made was accepted. She was incredibly responsive, even when dealing with a family emergency which definitely went above and beyond in my book. I don’t think it’s possible to adequately put into words how amazing Stacy is, but here goes! As first time home buyers, my husband and I admittedly understood very little about the ins and outs of buying a home, mortgages, etc. We also had a lot of grand ideas (that didn’t always align and/or weren’t always realistic ?) in regards to things we wanted in a first home. We were more than a little all over the place, yet Stacy was knowledgeable, organized, and patient throughout the process. Stacy was incredible! She has a great personality and was fun to work with. She took time to show us all of the areas that were potential and helped us narrow them down. The best suggestion she made was to give each house a nickname related to something about the house that stood out. We had names that ranged from “the surprising basement” to the “wedding venue” to the “gazebo house”, as well as the “haunted house.” It helped us keep each straight and she recalled details about each house that helped as we reviewed our choices. The negotiations were quick and we managed closing in less than 30 days. She followed up with getting names of professional service companies and advice. I have worked with 4-5 different real-estate agents in various states over the years to buy and/or sell my house. Stacy, undoubtedly, ranks No. 1 on my list. Some of the attributes she has demonstrated that puts her at the top of the list includes: being responsive, methodical, organized, experienced, facts and data driven, and kind person. Responsive: Always prompt in responding back whether it is early in the morning or late in the evening. She follows up with you in a timely manner and appropriately; and also with other (seller) agents (if needed). There were times when I was waiting for response from the other agent and Stacy was on top of it even before I would ask her to do so and keep me posted on the updates. Methodical: She works with you and provides information that fits your need and expectations. Organized: She sets optimized and accurate searches in MLS to never miss out on anything new that comes to market. If you have multiple home viewings during a day, she sets up routes in the system she shares with you that makes navigating very efficient. Experienced: She has years of experience behind her from a couple different agencies. So, she carries the best practices and knowhow from each one that gives her the edge. Facts and Data driven: If you like sifting through a ton of data, like me, she provides whatever information you need, in whatever format you need that works for you. She works with facts and not assumptions. I asked her to verify the schools in a particular home, and instead of just checking the MLS, she actually pulled the county records to confirm. Kind: I would say everyone in this industry is nice, because that is how they stay in business. So is Stacy. I have sent her so many emails, requests, odd questions, texts; and have always gotten a kind response and an inherent positive feeling overall. I truly feel like she’s part of my team and wants to work with me. We closed a temp housing with Stacy and we have already started working with her looking for a permanent home in the area.
